The Gala Girls

The Pink Gala is my New Year’s Eve fundraiser in memory of my mom who lost her battle with breast cancer on December 24, 2009.  I got some of my best girlfriends together to help me and we had our first Gala Girls get together at Boxwood Bistro last night.

I had to pretty up the table a bit before my peeps got there and took a few pictures for you.  I forgot to take any pics of the girlies but I will get them next time.  But isn’t the table cute?  I have a thing for boas….the feathers not the snakes.  Anywhoooo….because I want the party to be fun, I asked Nancy (my  graphic designer diva) to put a twist on the breast cancer ribbon and make it me….a fancy Nancy party for grown ups!  So thats the story of the feather centerpiece.  Don’t ya just love it?  The sponsorship brochure is also my designer diva’s creation….I love her, in case you didn’t pick up on that earlier.

A candy bar was the sweet treat for them to take home.

I think Cosmos will be the signature drink for the night….it is so Sex in The City (I not II) cool.

I love my Gala Girls and want to make sure they know how much I appreciate their help and support so I plan to spoil them a bit whenever I can.

Want to come to the best New Year’s Eve party evva?  Then check out The Pink Gala and plan to party with a purpose!
